How does MANAWISE Care ensure child safety?

We uphold rigorous child safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Department of Child Safety and PeakCare Queensland. Who can access MANAWISE Care services?

Our services are available to young people aged 12 – 17 years old across Queensland. Some programs require a referral from the Department of Child Safety, while others are open to direct enquiries.

Where are your services located?

We operate across Queensland, including Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Cairns, Mackay, Mount Isa, and remote Aboriginal communities such as Kowanyama, Pormpuraaw, and Doomadgee. Service availability may vary by location and program. Please contact us to discuss locations for your preferred service.

Do I need a referral to access support?

Some services, such as emergency accommodation and residential care, require a referral from the Department of Child Safety. or through schools and community organisations. Please contact us for more information on our services.

What types of support do you offer for young people?

All MANAWISE Care staff undergo rigorous screening and training, including Blue Card checks, National Police Checks, and mandatory Child Safety training. Our team meets or exceeds sector standards for qualifications and professional conduct, and we are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
